Konstruksi Simbolik Mubaligh Pop pada Film Sang Pencerah

The purpose of this study is to analyze the symbolic construction popular preacher in film Sang Enlightenment. research was conducted with a qualitative approach through media text analysis. Referring Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method, two stages are used examine identity film. Namely, significance first stage (denotation), which takes place various scenes and dialogues actors, second (connotation), reveals particular meaning from highlighted symbol or sign. Data were collected observation documentation. results show identities film, namely role as modernist, critical, wise preacher, social religious who faqih, mujadid, progressive. This has implications for strengthening digital da'wah studies, especially preachers.
